Am 2. September lädt medica mondiale in Kooperation mit dem BICC zur Filmvorführung von „Sturm“ mit anschließender Diskussion zum Thema „Gerechtigkeit für Überlebende sexualisierter Gewalt. Strafrechtliche Verfolgung am Beispiel des ehemaligen Jugoslawiens“ ein.
Der Film „Sturm“ wird in Anwesenheit des Regisseurs Hans-Christian Schmid gezeigt, der über seine Eindrücke während der Dreharbeiten sowie über die Rolle und Bedeutung der Opfer-Zeuginnen für die Arbeit des Internationalen Strafgerichtshof für das ehemalige Jugoslawien (ICTY) sprechen wird.
Medica mondiale hat eine Studie erstellt, die sich mit den Erfahrungen von Zeuginnen auseinandersetzt, die vor dem ICTY und der Kriegsverbrecherkammer in Sarajewo ausgesagt haben. Die Ergebnisse stellt die Co-Autorin, Gabriela Mischkowski, im Rahmen der Veranstaltung vor.
