Prof. Klaus Schwab ist einer der wenigen Deutschen, der seit nunmehr fast 40 Jahren auf der Weltbühne des globalen Business und der Politik erfolgreich agiert. Am 2. November erhält Prof. Klaus nur erstmalig die Würde des Ehrendoktors aus dem deutschsprachigen Europa verliehen.
Die Festrede hält Dr. Paul Achleitner, Mitglied des Vorstands der Allianz SE, München. Die Laudatio hält Dr. Christian Wenk, Oberarzt am Schweizer Paraplegiker-Zentrum Nottwil und Young Global Leader beim WEF. Das Schlusswort im Rahmen der Ehrenpromotion spricht Prof. Hans Tietmeyer, Ehrenpräsident der EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht i.Gr.
Das besondere Engagement Prof. Schwab gilt auch den von ihm etablierten Forum der Young Gloabal Leaders (YGL) des WEF World Economic Forums, von denen zahlreiche Vertreter bei den Feierlichkeiten zugegen sein werden.
