Was eine Toccata ist und wie sie sich anhört, erläutert Professor Helmut Freitag bei der ersten Veranstaltung der Kooperationsreihe am 24. November. Beim Gang durch die Geschichte dieser Musikgattung stellt der Universitätsmusikdirektor außerdem Werke von Buxtehude, Bach, Dubois, Schroeder, Planyavsky, Frescobaldi und anderen Komponisten an der Orgel vor. Dabei können die Besucher, die auf der Orgelempore im Kloster Platz nehmen dürfen, auch eigene Fragen loswerden.
„Musik zum Anfassen“ ist eine langfristig gedachte Kooperationsreihe, die künftig an zwei Terminen pro Semester orgelspezifische Themen und besondere Komponisten vorstellen wird. Der nächste Termin ist Mittwoch, 26. Januar 2011. Um eine freiwillige Spende, die den Partnern zugute kommen soll, wird gebeten.
