Professor Heckman (Jahrgang 1944) ist ein amerikanischer Ökonom. Für die Entwicklung von Theorien und Methoden zur Analyse selektiver Stichproben erhielt er 2000 zusammen mit seinem Landsmann Daniel L. McFadden den Nobelpreis für Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
