Wie soll die internationale Finanzarchitektur reformiert werden? Welche Rolle sollen die Europäische Union und die G20 in diesem Prozess spielen?
Diese und weitere Fragen werden auf der 8. Konferenz der Reihe „Political Economy of International Finance“ unter dem Titel "Towards a reformed international financial architecture" erörtert, die erstmals als Kooperation zwischen dem Bundesministerium der Finanzen und dem Fiscal Governance Centre der Hertie School of Governance am 3. und 4. Februar 2011 im BMF in Berlin stattfinden wird.
Eine internationale Forschergruppe aus den Bereichen Volkswirtschaft, Finanzen und Politikwissenschaften wird dabei aktuelle Fragen und Perspektiven der politischen Ökonomie und der internationalen Finanzen diskutieren.
Prof. Jeffry Frieden (Harvard University), Prof. Dr. Kai Konrad (Max Planck Institut für Steuerrecht und Öffentliche Finanzen) and Prof. Jacques Mistral (Institut français des relations internationales) werden die Veranstaltung mit einer Podiumsdiskussion am 3. Februar 2011 eröffnen.

for security controls at the entrance to the Ministry. The doors
