Erwartet werden zu der Konferenz etwa 350 Teilnehmer aus dem In- und Ausland. Zu den Schwerpunktthemen der Tagung zählen unter anderem Dopinganalytik, (Umwelt-) Toxikologie, Hochdurchsatz-Datenanalyse und die so genannten „Omics“-Forschungszweige Proteomics, Metabolomics sowie Lipidomics.
Die Konferenz wird vom Leibniz-Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften (ISAS) in Dortmund sowie vom Medizinischen Proteom-Center in Bochum organisiert und findet im Audimax der Technischen Universität Dortmund statt.
