Große Kontaktflächen auf ihrer Oberfläche geben oft den Ausschlag dafür, dass Proteine sich gegenseitig erkennen und miteinander in Wechselwirkungen treten können. Für diese Flächen interessiert sich die medizinische Forschung sehr, denn sie sind Zielstrukturen für die Entwicklung von Medikamenten. Neue Erkenntnisse auf diesem Gebiet werden auf dem internationalen Workshop vorgetragen.

Alle interessierten Wissenschaftler können sich dafür anmelden. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, die Teilnehmerzahl auf etwa 100 begrenzt. Anmeldung und weitere Infos auf der Homepage des Workshops.
