Im Jahr 2009 hat das Sächsische Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst ein Programm zur Förderung der geistes- und sozialwissenschaftlichen Forschung in Sachsen begründet. Mit der wissenschaftlichen Begutachtung der Projekte ist die Sächsische Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Leipzig betreut. Das in diesem Rahmen geförderte Projekt "Multiple Secularities" stellt im Akademie-Kolloquium am 27. Mai 2011 seine Arbeit vor.
