My lab is broadly interested in the molecular control of hematopoiesis, immune system development, and stem cell function. Because the development and homeostasis of immune cells are inseparable from their function, our ultimate goal is to generate novel models for the functional studies of immunity, including responses to infection and autoimmunity.
Dendritic cell development and homeostasis: Using genetic loss-of-function approaches, we have uncovered a novel role of the Notch and mTOR signaling pathways in the regulation of DC homeostasis and function.
Plasmacytoid dendritic cell development and function: We found that transcription factor (E protein) E2-2 is preferentially expressed in pDC, and its deletion selectively abolishes pDC development and pDC-dependent IFN response.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
