Wölfe sind selten und menschenscheu. Um mehr über sie zu erfahren, bedient man sich daher besonderer Tricks. Dr. Carsten Nowak erklärt, wie im wildtiergenetischen Labor in Gelnhausen über die DNA aus Kot, Haaren, Urin und Speichel Informationen über Artzugehörigkeit, Herkunft oder Verwandtschaftsbeziehungen rekonstruiert werden können.
