Der thematische Rahmen des Gottfried Benn-Symposiums ist weit gefasst, so dass unterschiedliche Blicke und Perspektiven auf Benn – seine Biographie und sein Werk, den zeitgenössischen Kontext der literarischen Moderne sowie seine Rezeptions- und Wirkungsgeschichte – ermöglicht werden.
Eine Vitrinen-Ausstellung sowie ein Bücher-Tisch des Verlages Klett-Cotta werden das Symposium umrahmen.
