Deshalb bietet das Universitätsklinikum am Vormittag des 15. Oktober erstmals eine Informationsveranstaltung an. Experten, die über einen großen Erfahrungsschatz in der Behandlung, Betreuung und Beratung von Demenzerkrankten und ihren Familien verfügen, informieren an diesem Tag pflegende Angehörige und Interessierte in Vorträgen, Diskussionen und individuellen Gesprächen.
Podiumsgäste der Veranstaltung „Demenzerkrankung: Was tun?“ sind Prof. Vjera Holthoff, Stellvertretende Direktorin der Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie sowie Leiterin der Poliklinik, Dr. Luisa Jurjanz, verantwortliche Psychologin der Universitäts-Gedächtnisambulanz, Thorsten Detto, Rechtsanwalt und Vorstand der Stiftung Vorsorgedatenbank sowie die Diplom-Sozialarbeiterinnen Therese Büttner und Ulrike Duschek von der Caritas-Seniorenberatung.
