An die Optometrie 2012 anschließend richtet die VDCO zusammen mit dem ZVA (Zentralverband der Augenoptiker) sowie der IVBV (Internationale Vereinigung für Binokulare Vollkorrektion) am 25. März 2012 den zum ersten Mal statt findenden „Tag der deutschen Optometrie“ aus. Dieser setzt ein Zeichen für die Höherpositionierung des Berufsstandes und die VDCO ist stolz darauf, die Premiere dieses Tages an ihre Frühjahrstagung anschliessen zu können.
