Zur akademischen Feier anlässlich der Verleihung des Hans-Werner-Osthoff-Plasmaphysikpreises 2011 laden wir Sie herzlich am 21. Juni 2012 um 18:00 Uhr in das Institut für Physik der Universität Greifswald (Felix-Hausdorff-Straße 6) ein. Die Laudatio hält Professor Uwe Czarnetzki von der Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Der Vortrag des Preisträgers lautet: "Elektronenheizung in kapazitiv gekoppelten Radio-Frequenz-Plasmen".
Vor fünf Jahren wurde das Gebäude des Instituts für Physik eingeweiht. Aus diesem Anlass findet im Vorfeld der Verleihung des Osthoffpreises ein Festkolloquium von 16:00 bis 17:30 Uhr statt. Professor Michael Schreckenberg (Universität Duisburg) spricht zum Thema "Leben im Stau - Neue Erkenntnisse der Verkehrsphysik".
