Auf acht Themeninseln informiert das mobile Museum über die Tradition chemischer Forschung und die Herausbildung des chemischen Labors, beginnend von der mittelalterlichen Probierkunst bis zum futuristischen Theorie-Labor der Gegenwart. Sie versinnbildlichen Meilensteine aus der Entwicklung wissenschaftlich-praktischer Tätigkeit. Der Ausstellungsraum wird hydraulisch in 3 Meter Höhe angehoben und ist sowohl über eine Spindeltreppe als auch über einen gläsernen Fahrstuhl zu erreichen. Die Ausstellung wurde vom Carl Bosch Museum Heidelberg als Wanderausstellung konzipiert und ist nun zu Gast an der TU Berlin.
