The »International Conference on Turbomachinery Manufacturing - ICTM« is designated to all stakeholders in the field of turbomachinery for example jet engines in aircrafts and stationary gas turbines in power plants. As a joint conference of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology, the ICTM presents innovative technologies for integrated process chains.
Main topics are
- Additive manufacture
- High performance machining
- Adaptive manufacturing chains
The presentations and live demonstrations will focus on laser and machining technologies as well as metrology and CAx-technologies.
Aachen has become a leading center of excellence for turbomachinery manufacturing. Multiple industrial cooperations within the past few years have been initiated. An outstanding example is the Fraunhofer Innovation Cluster »TurPro«. At the conference you will be given the opportunity to participate in the latest results of R&D activities.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the ICTM in Aachen, February 20 -21, 2013!
