Goethe war Zeit seines Lebens, ganz wie andere Schriftsteller seiner Zeit, unzufrieden mit seinen Verlegern, auch was die Honorierung seiner Werke betraf. Er hat im Laufe seines Lebens seinen Verlegern gegenüber verschiedene Strategien gewählt, nicht nur eine angemessene, sondern eine möglichst hohe Honorierung seiner Werke zu erzielen. Zwei besonders interessante und innovative darunter werden im Vortrag ausführlicher vorgestellt.
An den Vortrag schließt sich ein Empfang mit Imbiss an.
