Besonders auf den Gebieten Medizintechnik und Ermüdungsbewertung an technischen Anlagen hat der langjährige Hauptabteilungs- und Geschäftsfeldleiter Prof. Schreiber außergewöhnliche und international anerkannte Leistungen vollbracht. Auf Prof. Schreibers Initiative geht zudem maßgeblich der Aufbau der internationalen Kooperationen des Fraunhofer IZFP Dresden in Weißrussland und Korea zurück.
