Bei der REEC-Conference zeigen Akteure aus der Wissenschaft und Vertreter der industriellen Akteure die neuesten Entwicklungen in wichtigen Bereichen auf. Zu den prominentesten europäischen Vertretern zählt abermals Prof. Dr. Jean-Claude Bünzli. Er vertritt das Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne/Schweiz, sowie das Center for Next Generation Photovoltaic Systems, Korea University/Seoul. Des Weiteren haben Prof. Andrew Beeby von der Durham University aus England, und Prof. Mir Wais Hosseini von der Université de Strasbourg, Frankreich, ihr Kommen zugesagt.
Aus Deutschland sind unter anderen Prof. Dr. Frank Steglich vom Max-Planck-Institut for Chemical Physics of Solids, Dresden, Prof. Dr. Uwe Bovensiepen, University Duisburg-Essen, Duisburg, und Dr. Mario Ruben vom Karlsruher Institut für Nanotechnologie (INT), Karlsruhe, vertreten. Dr. Cees Ronda von der Philips GmbH, Aachen, spricht aus der Sicht der Industrie.
