Am Freitag, 7. Juni 2013, veranstaltet die YAWL-User Group um Prof. Dr. Andreas Hense (Fachbereich Informatik der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg) das erste internationale YAWL-Symposium. Der Schwerpunkt dieses Symposiums ist der Einsatz von YAWL in der Praxis. Von 9 bis 17 Uhr werden die Teilnehmer in rund zehn Sessions die verschiedenen Aspekte diskutieren.
Zielgruppe sind potenzielle Anwender des Workflowmanagement-Systems, also in erster Linie Wirtschaftsinformatiker. Erwartet werden 30 bis 40 Teilnehmer.
Keynote-Speaker ist Prof. Dr. Arthur ter Hofstede von der Queensland University of Technology (Australien).
