Hierbei präsentieren das Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum zusammen mit Instituten des Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) die Ergebnisse der begleitenden Analysen zu 22 EU-geförderten Demonstrationsprojekten. Diese wurden von der EC im 6. und 7. Forschungsrahmenprogramm der EU bezuschusst und stellen erneuerbare Energiekonzepte sowie Energieeffizienzprojekte, die in 58 Städten und Gemeinden in 23 Ländern umgesetzt wurden, vor. Desweiteren wird der Blick auch auf EU-Projekte mit Fokus Smart Cities and Communities gerichtet.
