The topics range from materials to diverse application fields, including substrates and epitaxy, GaN-power devices, UV LEDs with applications in disinfection and medical engineering, as well as UV photodetectors. Besides presentations from the partners of WideBaSe and other German institutions, further lectures are held by the UK Nitride Consortium and the Polish firms AMMONO and TopGan.
‘Berlin WideBaSe' is an innovative regional growth core focused on development, manufacturing and distribution of optoelectronic and electronic devices based on wide bandgap semiconductors. The network combines the know-how and technical resources of ten enterprises and three research institutions in Berlin.
