Mehrere renommierte Mathematikerinnen und Mathematiker wurden für Plenarvorträge gewonnen, darunter Gitta Kutyniok von der TU Berlin für die Emmy Noether-Vorlesung, Michael Struwe von der ETH Zürich, der 2012 die Cantor-Medaille der DMV erhalten hat, Endre Szemerédi, Abel-Preisträger des Jahres 2012, und Fields-Medaillist des Jahres 2010 Cedric Villani (Lyon und Paris).
Den öffentlichen Hauptvortrag wird Karl Sigmund (Wien) halten. Parallel findet die Studierendenkonferenz am Montag und Dienstag, 23. und 24.09.2013, statt. Am Freitag, 27. September, finden - ebenfalls parallel - ein Lehrer(innen)tag und ein Fachhochschultag statt.
