Medizintechnische Produkte wie Implantate sind aus der modernen Gesundheitsversorgung nicht mehr wegzudenken. Nach einem Unfall oder im Alter leisten Implantate einen wichtigen Beitrag für die bessere Versorgung von Patienten sowie für mehr Lebensqualität und Selbständigkeit. Bedingt durch den demographischen Wandel und die verlängerte Lebenserwartung ist die Entwicklung neuartiger Technologien und Werkstoffe unerlässlich. Am 5. November 2013 werden innovative Implantat-Materialien für muskuloskelettale und kardiologische Anwendungen vorgestellt.
