Aus der neueren kriminologischen Evaluationsforschung der Straftäterbehandlung gibt es mittlerweile begründete Hinweise darauf, dass überleitungsorientierte Haftentlassungsstrukturen die Wiedereingliederungschancen erhöhen. Aber welches Land hat diese Erkenntnisse wirksam umgesetzt? Was muss sich ändern, damit Rückfälle reduziert werden können, Haftentlassene einen nachhaltigen Weg aus ihrer Kriminalität finden und das Sicherheitsgefühl der Bevölkerung Berücksichtigung findet? Eine Tagung von 25 Forscherinnen und Forschern aus insgesamt 20 Ländern, die allesamt über weites Expertenwissen im Bereich der Wiedereingliederungsforschung verfügen, nimmt sich diesen Fragen an und versucht im Austausch miteinander gute Praxismodelle zu entwickeln. Über zwei Tage werden die Experten mithilfe von Vorträgen und Diskussionsforen ermitteln, welche Strategien und Strukturen eine Adaption der Praxis an den Forschungsstand zu ermöglichen versprechen.
