09/04/2016 - 09/07/2016 | Mittweida
The different topics are addressed by plenary lectures, contributed lectures - held in two parallel sessions - and posters. The programme will link fundamental and applied aspects providing an inspiring forum to discuss challenges faced by electrochemistry and corrosion science. The lecture halls are equipped with up-to-date technology. Poster session, company exhibition and coffee breaks take place next to the lecture halls.
The symposium was established in 1993 by Erika Kálmán in memoriam of Kurt Schwabe, a famous German electrochemist and corrosion scientist. Former conference venues were Tata, Dresden, Zakopane, Helsinki, Erlangen and Krakow.
In 2016, the symposium will be held in Mittweida which is close to the institute founded by Kurt Schwabe. One can say, the symposium comes to the domain of its eponym. It is understood that the Kurt-Schwabe-Institute will be destination of an excursion. Mittweida is located in the middle of Saxonia surrounded by a beautiful countryside.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
