In many publications, produced by authors outside and inside AWI, false numbers of oceanic heat transport are given. The errors do not come from poor sampling or model restrictions, but from applying an erroneous method which produces arbitrary results. This seminar is highly recommended for PhD students and postdocs; senior scientists who want to (re)adjust their understanding of heat transport are equally welcome.
