Der rasante medizinische Fortschritt, der sich in jüngster Zeit in der onkologischen Urologie vollzieht, führt zu immer vielfältigeren diagnostischen und therapeutischen Strategien. Die Nutzen-Bewertung vollzieht sich nicht ohne wissenschaftliche Diskussionen. Der 5. uro-onkologische Jahresauftakt Sachsen-Anhalt bietet Ärztinnen und Ärzten eine Plattform, um aktuell brisante Themen kontrovers zu diskutieren.
Am 13. und 14. Januar 2017 werden an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität in Magdeburg hochkarätige Experten aus der ganzen Bundesrepublik in Pro- und Kontra-Vorträgen ihre wissenschaftlichen Argumente für oder gegen verschiedene Behandlungsstrategien vorstellen.
