Triticeae is the economically most important tribe
in the grass family (Poaceae). It contains the major
cereal crops such as wheat, barley and rye as well
as important fodder grasses in genera such as
Agropyron, Elymus, Leymus, and Psathyrostachys.
Because of their economic importance, Triticeae
are commonly used for basic and applied research
and for comparative studies to other tribes in Poaceae.
We invite you to the 8th International Triticeae Symposium (8ITS),
which will be held during June 12-16, 2017 in Wernigerode, Germany.
This symposium will address the following four main themes:
1. Taxonomy, Phylogeny and Phytogeography
2. Biodiversity and Conservation
3. Genetics and Genomics
4. Breeding and Utilization
and will be structured in plenary sessions, featuring invited keynote lectures and
talks selected from submitted abstracts, as well as poster sessions. You are invited
to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
