Ob Erdoğan, Orbán, Le Pen oder Trump - überall auf der Welt fordern Populisten, Nationalisten und autoritäre Regierungschefs die Demokratie heraus und stellen den Rechtsstaat infrage. Erodiert damit der politische und gesellschaftliche Zusammenhalt der westlichen Staaten? Lange Zeit geteilte und unbestrittene außenpolitische Ziele wie internationale Kooperation und Entspannung werden plötzlich infrage gestellt, internationale Institutionen verlieren an Geltung. Zerfällt die internationale Ordnung? Wie aber können dann z.B. zukünftig Gewaltexzesse verhindert werden?
