Das Wesen der europäischen Stadt ist das Leben zwischen den Gebäuden im öffentlichen Raum! Er ist definitionsgemäß ein Raum der Begegnung und des Treffens, weshalb es auch eine gewisse Fluidität des Raumes an sich benötigt. Dies wandelt sich heute in vielen der europäischen Städten - Paris, Brüssel, Nizza, Berlin, London - auf Grund der Konfrontation mit Terrorismus, wo der öffentliche Raum das Angriffsfeld ist. Die Vorlesung wird sich diesem Wandel des fluiden Raumes widmen, ihn untersuchen und zum Nachdenken einladen.
