The Microoptics Conference (MOC) takes place in Germany for the second time in its history. As in 2004, Jena was again chosen as the venue for the MOC. Jena is known as City of Light – as an optical and photonics location with light competence for over 170 years, it is the cradle of the optical industry in Europe and stands for technology, science, innovation and progress.
The category of the conference covers the following subjects of microoptics:
1) Theory, Modeling, and Design
2) Materials and Fabrication
3) Measurement and Sensing
4) Passive Devices
5) Dynamic and Functional Devices
6) EO/OE and Active Devices
7) Integration, Packaging, and Si photonics
8) System and Design Conception
The 25th Microoptics Conference covers microoptics technologies in the following major topical fields:
A. Optical Communications
B. Optical Interconnects
C. Optoelectronic Equipment
D. Optical Sensing and Processing
E. Displays and Lighting
F. New Applications and Emerging Technologies
G. Microoptics for Quantum Technology
H. Artificial Intelligence and Microoptics
Besides that there will be opportunities to increase your own network (e.g., at a Conference Banquet in the Zeiss-Planetarium Jena) and to learn about new innovations and ideas (honored on-site with the Best Paper Award, and Student Paper Award). And of course, as with every previous MOC, the traditional Micro Concert will be on the agenda.
The conference is organized by Fraunhofer IOF and the Microoptics Group of the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP).
Take part in the central forum for microoptics and come to Jena!

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
