The seminar deals with current developments in wine authentication analysis. As an example, the results of a study on the authenticity of European wines on the Chinese market conducted within the framework of the EU-China-Safe project are presented. In addition, the potential as well as possible pitfalls of non-targeted methods are highlighted.The seminar discusses how these data-intensive methods place new challenges on stakeholder interaction and cooperation.
