Standardization is key to research and innovation investment agendas. Building together on common ground helps pave the way for large-scale deployment of new and strategic technologies. Keeping standards up to date, and developing new ones, coupled with increased EU participation in international standardization bodies, is essential to boost European industry’s competitiveness and resilience and build a sustainable future.
However, developing standards is very complex and time-consuming, as various interest groups and regulations have to be taken into account. In this workshop, participants will learn about potential bottlenecks and steps for remediation. They will also have the chance to discuss these with the presenters and each other.
The workshop is designed for representatives from additive manufacturing, welding, smart manufacturing and composites. However, interested parties from all sectors are welcome to attend.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
