Unter dem Titel „Astronomie – eine kosmische Perspektive“ findet im Wintersemsester 2024/2025 an der Technischen Hochschule Brandenburg (THB) eine öffentliche Vortragsreihe statt. Seniorprofessor Prof. Dr. Michael Vollmer lädt dabei alle Interessierten an vier Donnerstagen jeweils ab 18 Uhr ins Audimax der THB ein. Am 26. September, 17. Oktober, 14. November und 19. Dezember möchte er dabei Phänomene aus dem Bereich der Astronomie sowie deren Zusammenhänge erklären und darstellen.
Im erste Vortrag der Reihe geht es um „Unser heutiges Bild vom Universum“. Die weiteren Themen der Vortragsreihe sind „Das Sonnensystem“, „Leben und Tod der Sterne“ sowie „Sind wir allein im Weltall?“.
