Unveiling the Future of Robotics in Research and Industry

🚀 Get ready for an exciting evening with Women in AI & Robotics!

​In collaboration with Fraunhofer IAO, the initiative »Women in AI & Robotics« is hosting an in-person event to explore the latest innovations in robotics. Expect engaging 15-minute talks from leading experts in the field, sharing insights on cutting-edge research and real-world applications. Afterward, enjoy networking opportunities with professionals, accompanied by snacks and refreshments.
​​​This exclusive event will bring together professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore the current state of robotics in research and industry, offering a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts in the field.

​Agenda:
​18:30 – Registration opens
​19:00 – Welcome and 15-minute impulse talks from our distinguished speakers

- 🤖 Prof. Dr. Rania Rayyes – A junior professor of AI and Robotics at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT) and and Innovation Campus Future Mobility (ICM). Her research interests include interactive human-robot learning, online physical robot learning, lifelong learning, and uncertainty-driven domain adaptation.
​- 🤖 Philipp Schnattinger – With a strong background in robotics and software development, Philipp has spent the last 4 years at NODE, where he focuses on making software for mobile robots scalable.
​- 🤖 Dr. Mayumi Mohan – A Postdoctoral Researcher at the Haptic Intelligence Department of the Max-Planck-Institute for Intelligent Systems. Her research focuses on minimally supervised human-robot interaction and teleoperation, with a special interest in creating human-like gestures for socially assistive robots.
​- 🤖 Claudius Messerschmidt – As the Domain Architect for Autonomous Manufacturing and applied AI-Technologies at TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen, Claudius is at the forefront of integrating AI and robotics into advanced manufacturing processes.

​Networking Session: After the talks, attendees can connect with the speakers and other participants. Snacks and refreshments will be provided to create a comfortable environment for discussions.
The event is aimed at Robotics Experts, AI Experts, technology-affine people.
