Mittels Quantum Annealing wird der Verkehrsfluss im Hamburger Hafen optimiert. Mittels Sensorik werden Echtzeitverkehre erfasst und das Straßennetz in einem Verkehrsmodell im Detail modelliert. Dabei wird das aktuell gemessene Verkehrsaufkommen herangezogen, um das Aufkommen an den Ampelkreuzungen zu prognostizieren. So können Optimierungspotenziale benachbarter Ampeln berechnet werden und bspw. verlängerte Grünzeiten, geänderte Ampelphasen erzeugt werden, die den Verkehr in Echtzeit optimieren.
