Africa's youth are leading and building sustainable businesses, driving the continent's green technology adoption in transportation, energy and agriculture. Yet the policies, financing and skills systems surrounding these sectors have not kept pace with the role youth are already playing in them. Youth-led green startups remain poorly financed, climate and youth employment policies rarely connect, and young entrepreneurs have almost no seat at the tables where the decisions that govern their sectors are made.
To understand what it would take to change that, APRI, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, conducted three country studies in Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana — the first systematic, cross-country evidence base on green jobs for African youth, covering policy coherence, financing, skills, gender dynamics and Indigenous knowledge.
We warmly invite you to join us for the launch.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
