the Small and Medium Enterprises Business Training and Coaching Loop (SME Loop) in Benin implemented by GIZ and evaluated by the Center for Evaluation and Development (C4ED), and an inter-company training programme with the private sector in Tunisia also implemented by GIZ and evaluated by the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research (ifo Institute).
Drawing on the results of the two impact evaluations, the session discusses whether and under what conditions such interventions can strengthen employability, business performance and labour market integration.
