Das Institut für Pflanzengenetik und Kulturpflanzenforschung (IPK) in Gatersleben und die Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina in Halle (Saale) laden gemeinsam vom 22. bis 24. Mai 2003 zu diesen interdisziplinären Gesprächen in das IPK nach Gatersleben ein, an denen Naturwissenschaftler, Schriftsteller, Künstler, Sozialwissenschaftler, Publizisten und Politiker teilnehmen werden. Unter anderem kommen Jens Reich, Berlin, und Peter Propping, Bonn, Mitglieder des Nationalen Ethikrats, zu Wort.

Die Veranstaltung ist für Interessierte offen. Eine verbindliche Anmeldung ist jedoch erforderlich.
