Mathematics of Behavioral Economics and Knightian Uncertainty in Financial Markets

Derzeit ist Behavioral Economics ein heißes Thema in der Volkswirtschaftslehre, da Labor-Experimente und empirische Studien deutlich zeigen, dass die klassische Annahme eines homo oeconomicus die Wirklichkeit sehr unzureichend beschreibt. Der Workshop erforscht die Möglichkeiten, die Resultate der Forschung über Knightsche Unsicherheit auf Vertragstheorie und Marktverhalten im Rahmen neuer Präferenzmodelle anzuwenden.

Geleitet wird die Konferenz von den Ökonomen Frank Riedel (Bielefeld) und Ulrich Horst (Berlin). Die Tagungssprache wird Englisch sein.
