Mittels einer klassischen Knochenmarksentnahme wurden Sandras Bruder die lebensrettenden Zellen entnommen. Er brauchte nur einen Tag in der Klinik zu bleiben ist unheimlich stolz, dass er seiner großen Schwester damit das Leben retten konnte. „Die Transplantation ist für beide erfolgreich gelaufen, Sandra ist auf dem Weg der Besserung. Das neue Knochenmark ist gut und stabil angewachsen“, so Professor Lode. Kurz vor ihrer Heimreise wurde ein Abschiedsfoto mit dem onkologischen Team in der Kinderklinik gemacht.
