Eine Handhabe gegen Ehec-Bakterien: Mit diesem Gerät könnten Verbraucher Lebensmittel in der heimischen Küche von gefährlichen Bakterien wie dem Ehec-Erreger O104:H4 befreien. Das Gerät reduzierte eine die Zahl der Bakterien in einer Kolonie nach 15 Sekunden Behandlung auf ein 100 000stel und ließe sich für etwa 100 Euro produzieren.
