Michael Heinrich vom Institut für Strukturleichtbau der TU Chemnitz zeigt ein Rotorblatt einer Windkraftanlage, in das gestickte Dehnungssensoren integriert wurden. Unzulässig hohe Belastungen des Rotorblattes können so erkannt werden. In diesem Demonstrationsmodell, das auf dem IdeenPark in Essen vorgestellt wird, werden die Dehnungen durch farbige Leuchtmittel angezeigt.
