Die Piezokeramik als eigentlicher Wandlerwerkstoff ist in ein Laminat, ähnlich einer flexiblen Leiterkarte, integriert. Die erhaltenen Aktor- und Sensorbauteile sind flexibel und an gekrümmte Oberflächen adaptierbar. Standardmodule werden in Lizenz von der Smart Material GmbH in Dresden produziert.
