Der Biomediziner und Experte für Blutplättchen Prof. Dr. Markus Bender hat von der DFG eine Heisenberg-Professur erhalten. Seit Juni 2022 ist er W2-Professor für Kardiovaskuläre Zellbiologie am Lehrstuhl für Experimentelle Biomedizin I der Uni Würzburg
