Die in dem VLBI-Experiment verwendeten Radioteleskope: Rechts 40-m TNRT und links das 100-m Effelsberg. Die beiden Radioteleskope sind 8.500 km voneinander entfernt und erreichen die Auflösung eines virtuellen Einzelteleskops von 8.500 km Durchmesser.
