Darstellung der dreidimensionalen Struktur des untersuchten Molekülkomplexes im Spleißosom. Das 15.5K-Protein (rotes Molekül) und die U4 snRNA (gelb) sind in einer Oberflächendarstellung gezeigt, das Prp31-Protein (blau) als Modell seiner Strukturmotive. Das 15.5K-Protein und die RNA verbinden sich zu einer Landeplattform für das Prp31-Protein, das an beiden Molekülen jeweils etwa zur Hälfte andockt.
