Pumpen in Teamarbeit: In einem Magnetfeld lagern sich Mikrokugeln (orange) zu rautenförmigen Ventilen und einem Zahnrad zusammen. Wenn ein geschickt gesteuertes Magnetfeld das Rad durch den Hohlraum rollt, pumpt es im Zusammenspiel mit den Ventilen eine Flüssigkeit mit Kolloidteilchen (blau) durch das System.
