Tom Kühnert von der Professur Graphische Datenverarbeitung und Visualisierung der TU Chemnitz designt Schuhe am Computer mit Hilfe stereoskopischer Displaytechnologie und moderner Tracking-Systeme. Die mit einem Auswahlstift gezeichneten Designlinien sind die Basis der realitätsnahen Visualisierung des künftigen Schuhs. Auch Farben, Materialarten, Nähte, Absätze oder Schmuckelemente werden mit Hilfe des Stiftes festgelegt.
